Things to Do
Fishing may bring you here, but it’s not the only way to enjoy the White River.
Fishing may bring you here, but it’s not the only way to enjoy your time on the White River.
Whether you want to slow down at the resort or explore the Ozarks, there’s plenty to do both on property and within a short drive.
Stay an extra day. You won’t regret it.
At the Resort
Grills
Few things gather a group like a good barbecue. Each cabin has access to charcoal grills so you can cook together and unwind after a day on the river.
Campfire Ring
Just north of our dock, you’ll find our campfire ring overlooking the water. Sunset, drifting river, crackling fire – don’t forget the s’mores.
Playground
Let the kids swing, slide, and burn off some energy.
Swimming Pool
Cool off in our outdoor swimming pool, open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Horseshoes
Gather your group for a friendly (or competitive) game of old-fashioned horseshoes.
Local Dining
Arranged roughly by distance from the resort:
Diego’s Fresh Mex
Local favorite for lunch and dinner.
Connie’s Café
Southern comfort diner classics – breakfast and lunch.
178 Club
Casual but elevated dining – steak, seafood, burgers. Bowling alley and sports bar out back.
Nima’s Pizza
Award-winning specialty pizzas. Also offers traditional menu options.
Mountain Home also offers additional restaurants and familiar fast-food options.
Prefer to cook? Several grocery stores are within a short drive.
Beyond the River
If you’re looking to explore a little farther: Bull Shoals Lake marina (boat rentals & water sports), Ranger Boats and Vexus Boats factory tours, bowling & movie theaters, local plays and seasonal shows, four major caverns within two hours, Silver Dollar City just over an hour away, antiques, flea markets, gift shops, and Duane Hada’s Rivertown Gallery (original watercolor river art).
