Policies

Cancellation Policy

When you reserve cabins or services with White Hole Resort, those resources are held exclusively for your trip. Because we do not overbook cabins, guides, or boats, cancellations affect our ability to rebook those dates.

Please review the policy below before confirming your reservation.

Cancellation Deadlines

If you need to cancel or significantly change your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • One- or Two-Bedroom Cabins:
Cancel within 14 days of arrival → 50% cancellation fee

  • Large Cabins:
Cancel within 30 days of arrival → 50% cancellation fee

  • Boat Rentals:
Cancel within 3 days of arrival → 50% cancellation fee
  • Guided Fishing:
Cancel within 14 days of arrival → 50% cancellation fee

No-Shows

If you do not arrive for your reservation and have not contacted us to cancel beforehand, the reservation will be treated as a no-show, and you will be charged 100% of the total reservation value.

Changes to Reservations

We understand that plans sometimes change. We will always try to accommodate reasonable adjustments when possible. However, changes made inside the cancellation windows above may be treated as cancellations and subject to the same fees.

Our Commitment

We reserve cabins, guides, boats, and meals specifically for your stay and never intentionally overbook. This policy allows us to operate fairly for both our guests and our staff. If you have any questions about this policy before booking, please contact us, and we will be happy to explain.

Deposits

For most reservations, we only require a credit card on file to hold your reservation, but deposits are required for reservations that include meals, two or more 4-bedroom cabins, or three or more fishing guides. If a deposit is required, we will inform you at the time of booking. Deposits are applied toward your final balance.

If you’d like to make additional deposits to break up the cost of your trip, we’re happy to accommodate you.

Check-in & Check-out Times

Your cabin will be ready for check-in after 3 p.m. on your arrival date. If you want to arrive before 3 p.m., call us to see if your cabin will be available at an earlier time. We need you to be checked out of your cabin by 11 a.m. on your departure day, although you are welcome to stay and fish after checking out of your cabin. If you want to leave before we open the office in the morning, please check out with us the afternoon before your departure.

Maximum Occupancy

Cabin rates are based on the number of people age six and over in the cabin; children ages five and under do not count toward the occupancy limits or rates. Each cabin has a maximum occupancy; we cannot allow overcrowding.

Minimum Stays

A two-night minimum stay is required year-round. A three-night minimum stay is required for the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, as well as Independence Day weekend (when applicable). Requests for one-night reservations will be considered around the scheduling of other reservations, but will not typically be accepted during our busier seasons.

Pets

To best accommodate the needs of all of our guests, we welcome pets in cabins #6, #7, #8, #9, and #10. Bringing a pet to one of these permitted cabins costs $20 per pet per night. Pets are not allowed on the cabin furniture or bedding; bring their own bedding and food bowls with you. Keep pets on a leash at all times when they are outside, and do not leave them alone in the cabin. Any damage from pets will be charged to your account. Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring a pet.

Pets are not allowed in cabins #2, #3, #4, #5, and #11. Evidence of a pet in one of these no-pet cabins will result in a $100 cleaning fee.

Smoking

You may smoke outside on the porch of your cabin. Please use the ashtrays and cigarette cans conveniently located on the porches. For the comfort of our other guests, smoking is not permitted in any of our cabins.

Quiet Hours

Many people have commented about how peaceful it is here. For the comfort of all our guests, quiet hours are enforced. Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., keep noise to a normal speaking level to avoid disturbing other guests.

Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for the proper use of all facilities and for any damage beyond normal wear to cabins, grounds, buildings, boats, or boat motors. Please notify us if any damage occurs so we can work with you to resolve the issue.

After departing, if you find you are missing something of value, please call as soon as possible to see if it has been found and to identify the item.

Boat Rentals

You must be at least 21 years old to rent a boat and motor from us.

We currently have 9 rental boats. We highly recommend reserving boats in advance, as we often run out during busy weekends.

If you need to cancel a reserved boat, please do so at least 3 days in advance of your rental to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.

You are responsible for damages (beyond normal wear) to the boat and motor up to and including the value of the boat and/or motor if damaged beyond repair.

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission requires all people born on or after January 1, 1986, to have a state-authorized Boater Education Certificate before operating a motorboat (including our jon boats), PWC, or sailboat in Arkansas. You can find out more about the AGFC-approved online course here: Arkansas Boater’s Ed

Our rental boats are not equipped or permitted to be used after dark. Our boat rental hours are as follows:

  • April – September: 7:30 a.m. till 7 p.m.

  • October – March: 7:30 a.m. till Dusk

Guided Fishing

By reserving a guide, you are having them devote their day to serving only you. If you cancel your trip, then your guide will likely lose their opportunity for a day’s work. We will charge a cancellation fee, up to the full value of the reserved guide service, if you cancel your reservation less than 14 days before the trip.

Meals

We offer pre-selected catered meals in our dining hall to groups of ten people or more when requested at least two weeks in advance. Please see our meals page to learn more about our meal options. Contact us if you are interested.
